The MA in Curatorial Practice programme at Chulalongkorn University is organising its first International Curatorial Practice Symposium in collaboration with The Jim Thompson Art Center on Saturday 19th February 2021, 13.00 - 17.10 (GMT +7, Bangkok Time).

13.00 - 13.10:
Introduction to the event and MA Curatorial Practice, Chulalongkorn University by Assistant Professor Prapon Kumjim, D.F.A.

13.10 - 14.00:
Keynote lecture “Why Do We Need Curators?” by Professor Apinan Poshyananda, Ph.D.

14.00 - 15.30:
Panel discussion “What Makes Good Curators?” by Professor Patrick D. Flores, Ph.D and Zoe Butt, moderated by Haisang Javanalikhikara, D.F.A.

15.30 - 17.00:
Panel discussion “International Exhibition & the Pandemic” by Professor Ute Meta Bauer and Diana Campbell Betancourt, moderated by Gridthiya Gaweewong, D.F.A.

17.00 - 17.10:
Closing by Assistant Professor Prapon Kumjim, D.F.A.
