Thai Theatre Foundation has three staff members — the Executive Director (on a volunteer-basis), the Finance Associate and the Foundation Officer (a part-time position).

Raksak Kongseng

With an interdisciplinary background, Raksak Kongseng straddles two worlds – the world of theatre and the world of business management. She served as a stage manager and a project manager in multiple events both in Thailand and the US before transitioning into arts administration. She currently works at Theatre Communications Group (TCG) in New York as an Operations and Special Projects Manager. She is also the founder and the Executive Director of Thai Theatre Foundation (TTF).

Raksak holds a BA in Dramatic Arts from Chulalongkorn University and an MS in Arts Administration from Boston University. She was a Graduate Visiting Student in Finance and Accounting at Columbia University.

Raksak enjoys theatre, Thai poetry, politics, and, of course, Thai food!

KENG S. M

EATEANUWAT

Keng Sanhawich Meateanuwat (เก่ง สัณหวิชญ์ เมธีอนุวัตร) is a Thai theatre director/writer based in NYC. They taught acting/directing at Bangkok University for three years, where they directed, adapted, and translated numerous productions. Recent directing credits include Lanna Dream (The Den, Chicago), The Adventure of Sky and Friends (New Victory Labworks), A Sisyphean Dream (Pan Asian Rep’s Nuwork 2023), and The Revolutionists (Heartland Theatre Company). Assistant Directing: Sanctuary City (Seattle Rep), Big Hunk o’ Burnin’ Love (Roundabout Theater Company), Nightwatch (NPC, The Eugene Oneill' Theater Center). 2022 National SDC Directing Fellowship at KCACTF. 2023 The John Cauble Emerging Producer/Leader Award. 2023 The Drama League's Irene Gandy Directing Assistantship recipient. Leon Levy Foundation Roundabout Directors Group cohort 5. Their adaptation, Walk to the Stars, is a semifinalist for the 2024 National Playwrights Conference at the O'Neill. M.F.A. Directing: Illinois State University.

Tanyatorn Butryee

Tanyatorn Butryee (Fern) During her BA in Dramatic Arts at Chulalongkorn University, she won Sodsai Awards for Best Play in 2011. She is now working as writing plays and TV scripts as a freelancer.

Tanyatorn holds a BA in Dramatic Arts from Chulalongkorn University.

She loves theatres, movies, music and traveling for inspirations for her plays.

Pilaipun Thammamitr

A full-time English teacher for children who likes to put herself in the theatre scene whenever she can. Enjoys almost all kinds of live performances because she falls for their charms. Pilaipun has experience working with Democrazy Theatre Studio, Anatta Theatre Troupe, B-Floor Theatre, Babymime, independent artists, and several performing arts festivals.

Pilaipun earned a BA in Drama from the faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Thammasat University and an MM from College of Management, Mahidol University.

Pilaipun treasures quiet places. She likes to watch series, play games, listen to music, pour her heart out for Korean idols, and travel the world and enjoy the nature. She lives her life with passion. When she’s free, she takes orders for her cold-pressed juice business. Finally, she hopes for equality - real equality - in this country.
